5 Different Nail Paint Shades In Brown And Golden
Hi Everyone,
When I look at my nail paint collection, I only see browns. Of course, they are different shades of brown- right from n*ude to seal brown. I do not know why I have this inclination towards brown nail paints. Brown is not even one of my favourite colors but still I pick one brown tone color whenever I shop for nail paints  . Out of the copious brown nail paint collection, I could only get 5 bottles which are not dries or finished up. These are my favourite nail paint shades (amongst browns), and in that order too :mail:
Maybellin Color Show Nu*e Skin (shade no: 015)- A warm, soft and elegant shade of brown. The shade truly compliments its name, giving a subdued effect to hands. This shade makes the hand accessories such finger rings stand out and look marvellous. Goes well with all skin tones and makes an impression of one shade lighter skin tone than the actual one. Recently, I worn this shade with an LBD and topped it up with black sarwoski finger ring. Because of this nail shade everyone noticed the ring; it was indeed looking like a shiny crystal ball.
Wet n Wild Shield (shade no: 231) – A perfect shade for summers that not only enhances the look of suntanned hands but also give them an innocent look. This is a soft golden shade with micro- shimmer effect. The shimmer particles are thin enough to not give a rough feel. One coat gives a Cal poly gold look (with shimmer), 2 coats give as golden brown appearance. I adorn both the looks, depending upon my mood  . Mostly, I wear this nail paint with red, black, beige or those outfits that have a hint of bronze or gold. It dries faster, and has a long chip off time.
NYC Plaza Plumberry (Shade no: 139B) – This shade is a mix of seal brown and burgundy; a loud shade that does not make it to my daily wear product list. But I love this shade as much as I love eating paneer (I eat it occasionally- you could guess why ;-) ). Being a dark shade it gives a streaky effect after one coat. Usually, I have to top up 2-3 coats to get the original plumberry shade. It dries instantly but chips off early, probably because of the multiple layers that do not get to stick firmly.
Revlon Totally Toffee (shade no: 415) – This is a chocolaty shade, quite similar to dairy milk silk (yummy). The moment I saw this shade on the display shelf I knew I was going to get that. It goes with almost every colour outfit. It has a bad chip off time, and the glossy sheen also fades away after 1.5 days. I prefer to wear this shade on my toe nails as it makes them look fairer without chipping off that early.
L’Oreal Paris Mysterious Icon (shade no: 805) – This shade is quite close to coyote shade of brown. I would say a little darker than that. It is also instilled with micro-shimmer particles, which softens the look of this otherwise bold shade. Goes well with all skin tones, takes a couple of minutes to dry and has a good chip off time. I do not wear it on my toe nails as it makes my feet look darker than their normal color ;-)
