Starting the day in a good mood at 6.00 seems to be something out of this world. Since I have started listening to my alarm clock I love waking up early. Only after I have become a morning person I realized it’s possible to rise and shine every single day. You have a lot of time to spend on your physical and mental health which ultimately will make you ready for the day ahead. In this post I am sharing 6 morning rituals for a bright and successful day. If you are soon going to be a bride, you will definitely find these tips helpful in attaining glowing skin.
Aromatherapy
Scents have a big impact on your mood. Some fragrances have a calming effect, while others can help you wake up and boost your spirits. It’s a good idea to get an aroma lamp and several types of essential oils. The blend of lime, bergamot, and ylang-ylang will help you start a new day. Peppermint, grapefruit, and bergamot will help you wake up quicker. Rosemary, grapefruit, and lime will energize you.
Yoga or Stretching
A good stretch or yoga in the morning helps relaxing the muscles. All you need to do is buy a plush carpet or yoga mat to lie down and do some stretching moves. It instantly calms down the body and gives a light feeling. If you are new to Yoga and do not have time to attend any classes you can learn the basic asanas on youtube and start practicing them gently. These exercises fill you up with energy that is needed for a productive day. Yoga helps you resist daily stress. It has a lot of other benefits for your mental and physical health. It strengthens your muscles and joints, prevents various diseases and conditions. It’s a perfect beginning of a new day with clear mind and good mood.
Skin Pampering
When you wake up and look in the mirror, you think that your face urgently needs some care. Do you know that an early morning is the best time for skin care routine? All imperfections reveal themselves after the hours of sleep. Puffy eyes, spots, the feeling of tightness, pale complexion – it’s time to get rid of all this. Epidermis loses a lot of resources, in particular, water, during the night, so you need to take a good care of your skin. Skin cleansing should be your everyday routine. Apply facial masks 1-2 times a week. I always prefer to apply homemade masks as they are devoid of chemicals and have more goodness. Keep in mind that after a mask (which should be on for 20 minutes), your skin needs about an hour to recover, so don’t put makeup on shortly after you wash away your mask instead apply some moisturizer.
Soaked Nuts
Just after your wake up eat some overnight soaked nuts for that extra energy and nourishment to your skin. I have been eating soaked almonds, walnuts and raisins for decades now. They are an absolutely healthy source of nutrients that our body needs. If you eat them empty stomach you will get 3x more benefits.
Creativity
Do you want to start your day in some unusual way? You can get up, go to the bathroom, then sit at the table and open the coloring book. Yes, these books have become extremely popular among adults these days. They are great for de-stressing yourself and getting in a creative mood. There are different patterns, so you can choose the book that will appeal to you the most.
Facial gymnastics
When you wake up, you may often feel that your face is swollen and doesn’t express any emotions. The same as your body needs some exercises to wake up and be fit, you face needs some gymnastics too. Actors and singers start their day with articulation gymnastics to train their speech. You can do the same exercises to ‘awaken’ your mouth. You already know that mornings are perfect for skin care. They are also perfect for facial gymnastics that can make you look younger without any botox. Doing those exercises, you can make your jawline more defined, your cheeks muscles more toned, your lips plumper, etc.
