Right now it is quite cold here. Though our friends are saying summers are about to start but we do not see that season coming yet- might be cause of the huge variation from Indian summers. So for me, it is winters yet and my skin is getting flaky. To combat the cold wind and dryness in atmosphere I have got new products for my skin and hair care. Let’s have a quick look at my Australian Skin And Hair Care Haul.
Jergens Ultra Healing Moisturizer: This moisturizer is for extra dry skin. It is enriched with Vitamin C, E & B5 and claims to penetrate through 5 layers of skin to repair, heal and deeply nourish extra dry skin, which is what my skin has become now. It has thick texture and provides enough moisture but sometimes when the temperature drops I need to reapply it at night time. You would see an exclusive review on it soon.
Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion: Another bottle of moisturizer was required as I prefer to keep it in my handbag all the time. Aveeno is also one of my favorite brands when it comes to moisturizers so I always keep it handy in a travel container in my handbag. The daily moisturizing lotion contains natural colloidal oatmeal that helps in preventing and protecting dry skin by providing temporary relief from scaling and chapping. It leaves the skin soft and smooth.
Sun Sense Sport SPF 50: As I have mentioned in my previous post that the ozone layer in Australia is perforated so it is essential to apply good layer of sunscreen no matter I am staying indoors or outdoors. I have bought this sun screen for exposed body parts so that they are shielded from harmful UVA/UVB rays. It absorbs into the skin leaving no greasy residue.
Witch Naturally Clear Oil Control Foaming Face Wash: It is a blend of mild and naturally derived cleaners to gently cleanse the skin with light bubbly foam that washes away oils impurities, leaving the skin looking clear and healthy.
Schwarzkpof Marrakesh Oil & Coconut Shampoo & Conditioner: To save my hair from becoming frizzy in this cold weather I bought this duo. It contains Argan Oil (from Morocco) that is known for its hair repairing properties. This duo also contains Marrakesh and coconut oils that leave hair soft and supple without weighing down. An exclusive review is on the way.
Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skin Balancing Night Cream: This will be my first experience with Elizabeth Arden products. I have not yet started using any of them because I am still emptying the ones I have brought from India. So, there won’t be any first impression comments but definitely I can put forth what the brand claims for each of these products. This multi-benefit nighttime treatment works to deliver balanced hydration for a radiant, luminous appearance. It is dermatologically tested so I am assuming that it would fare well on my combination/oily skin.
Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skin Balancing Lotion SPF 15: This is a day lotion with SPF 15. It claims to hydrate the skin yet controlling the greasiness. It has to be applied on a clean face just like any other lotion. If your skin is sensitive to sun rays you can top it up with SPF 50 sunscreen.
Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skin Balancing Toner: It claims to remove excess impurities and makeup without drying skin. It does not contain alcohol and leaves the skin feeling healthy and balanced.
Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skin Balancing Exfoliating Cleanser: This is a two in one product – cleanser & exfoliator. It removed dead skin cells and lifts away impurities leaving skin clean and fresh. It can be used daily followed by the toner.
Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Optimizing Skin Serum: This sample sized serum was complimentary with other purchase. Just like any other serum, it has to be applied on a clean face and before applying the moisturizer.
Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Lift And Firm Day Cream With Sunscreen: Elizabeth Arden’s ceramide range has youth-restoring solutions. It is for those first signs of aging as it replenishes the skin with what it naturally loses.
Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging Treatment Boosting Cleanser: Prevage range is for environmental anti-ageing solutions. It reverses the damage and protects the skin with Idebenone, the most powerful antioxidant available.
I am so keen on trying Elizabeth Arden. The haul is really very tempting sweets >:D<
Such a great haul. Thanks for sharing it.
