It has not been a great experience; if you look at the positive side it might help you in taking a wise decision about this eye shadow palette.

My Take on ‘CoverGirl Eye Enhancers 3 Kit Shadows Firecracker 100’

I got this eye shadow trio as a gift so did not have the possibility of checking out the color payoff before I could add it to my kitty. CoverGirl eye enhancers 3 kit shadows Firecracker 100 has 3 colors – parrot green, vibrant pink and pure white. All these three eye shadows are enclosed in a single case that does not have any mirror but is provided with a small applicator. The casing is made up of good plastic so it can be easily carried while travelling.

Regarding the texture of this 3 kit shadows, I am not highly impressed with their formula. They seem to have chalky texture that does not cause any fall out but at the same time does not even provide great color payoff. Parrot green seems to be pretty matte, but on the contrary pink and white shades have some shimmer in them. Mostly, I use the white shade for highlighting brows and inner eye corners.

About color pigmentation, parrot green shade doesn’t have a great color payoff, so I seldom use it. I think this color would merely show up on Indian skin tones. Even when I apply it in abundant quantity it does not seem to have taken enough to show up on me. The vibrant pink color is still ok; in fact it is the most vibrant color out of the three. The very first day I applied these eye shadows I did not use any primer underneath so thought that might be the reason for less color payoff but even when I used them over primer there was not much difference. In this case, the primer enhances the longevity of these shadows but does not make them much prominent.

The good thing about these shadows is that even though they a chalky texture they do not cause any fall outs. While working with CoverGirl Eye Enhancers 3 Kit Shadows Firecracker 100 I can be carefree about cleaning up the under eye area mess. Plus, being powder base eye shadows they do not crease easily. You can wear them for good 3-4 hours without worrying about the creasing part.

– They do not crease for about 3-4 hours.
– They have good longevity power; however the color starts fading with time.

– The pigmentation is not that great.
– The green color does not have any payoff at all.
– The colors are a bit chalky.

Final Word: CoverGirl Eye Enhancers 3 Kit Shadows Firecracker 100 does not provide good color payoff so would not come up well on Indian skin tones. The vibrant pink and pure white are the two shades that bring some color to the eyelids but not a lot of color. As compared to other eye shadows they are still lacking in pigmentation. But looking at the price, CoverGirl Eye Enhancers 3 Kit Shadows is a product for makeup beginners as they have numerous opportunities to keep experimenting with the looks until they attain perfection.
