A few months back I have purchased ‘Dove essential nourishment body lotion deep care complex’; I was so impressed with this body lotion that I wanted to try another variant of the same range: shea butter. As I did not want to purchase any other body lotion but only Dove Shea Butter so I have to wait for a couple of weeks to get the 400ml packaging of Dove Indulgent Nourishment Body Lotion With Shea Butter. My excitement to use this body lotion was quite prevalent because of the impression of previous Dove Body Lotion, and just to have the feel of the shea butter I used the body lotion immediately on my hands :-)

Well, the product claims that Dove Indulgent Nourishment Body Lotion is a rich blend of nourishing cream and shea butter extracts that melts into your skin enveloping all your senses and leaves you a beautiful glow. The unique deep care complex includes natural skin nutrients and rich essential oil to help gradually improve skin starting deep down.

My Take on ‘Dove Indulgent Nourishment Body Lotion With Shea Butter’

Dove Indulgent Nourishment Body Lotion With Shea Butter comes in a solid white cylindrical (slightly curvy) bottle. The lotion is white in color with chocolate fragrance. The texture of the body lotion is nice that makes the slathering easy. Once slathered, it gets absorbed in the skin easily, making your skin feel nourished. The shea butter fragrance fades away after around 1 hour but the moisturizing effect stays for 4-5 hours under air conditioner. Shea butter is said to work well on stretch marks but I have not noticed any such effect in last 2 weeks’ usage.

Overall, my expectations from Dove Indulgent Nourishment Body Lotion With Shea Butter were quite high and it does suffice them to some extent :-)

– Travel friendly.
– Yummy fragrance :-)
– Easily absorbed in the skin.
– Easy to spread on the skin.
– Non-Sticky texture.
– Under air conditioner the moisturizing effect stays for around 4-5 hours.

What I do not like about ‘Dove Indulgent Nourishment Body Lotion With Shea Butter’

– Does not seem to work on stretch marks.
– Gets thick in winters.
