Couple of weeks ago, I posted my skin care haul from Australia. Most of the products I bought were from Elizabeth Arden; this was the first time I was giving this brand a try so was quite excited to see its performance on combination/oily skin. I started using most of the products from the day I bought them (you can sense my enthusiasm of trying new products) and now you will be seeing their reviews one by one. To start with, I am putting forth my experience of Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skin Balancing Exfoliating Cleanser. Let’s quickly go through the review.
What the product says:
Cleaning combination skin is a balancing act: oilier areas need to be well-cleansed without depleting vital moisture. Our foam’s micro-beads gently cleanse and exfoliate while leaving skin with the perfect balance of hydration. Non-comedogenic.
My skin type: Combination/Oily
My take on ‘Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skin Balancing Exfoliating Cleanser’
The exfoliating cleanser comes in a white flip open tube, which is made of soft plastic. The black and red colored text gives it a simple yet elegant look. It is a lightweight and spill-proof tube and can be easily carried in a handbag while travelling. Usage instructions and expected benefits are mentioned at the back side, the only thing missing is the ingredient list. If you want to check the ingredients then go to Elizabeth Arden website. I tried including the ingredient list in this post but copying was disabled on the website. So, to see what all this cleanser contains go through the website.
The cleanser is milky white in semi runny consistency. The micro-beads are also white in color and can be easily spotted when I pour the cleanser on my hand. The best thing is they are quite soft and do not feel gritty. Even when I apply the cleanser on my wet face I could hardly feel the particles. They do their job very gently just the way I expect my skin care products to perform. It has mild fruity fragrance that adds to the wonderful experience.
For the usage, I am using it twice a day. I take small quantity (less than pea size) on the tip of my finger and then placing it at the center of the palm I rub both the hands to generate lather. In no time it creates abundant foam (which is a plus for foam lovers like me) that I then use to massage onto wet face followed by good rinse using warm water. It gets off the skin quickly without leaving any soapy residue.
For the efficacy, it leaves the skin squeaky clear and clean. Since I have started using this exfoliator I find the acne scars diminishing as well. The skin does not feel flaky anymore and neither is it oily in the T zone. I find my skin more on the normal side now and happy that it is not breaking out as well. Otherwise, when I try a new product, especially an exfoliator, there are high chances that my skin shows resistance to it by breaking out. Fortunately, my skin loves the touch of Elizabeth Arden skin balancing exfoliating cleanser, and I am happy to continue its usage.

Final Word: Formulated with micro-beads that are soft and gentle on the skin, Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skin Balancing Exfoliating Cleanser thoroughly cleans the skin removing every external impurity and dead skin cells. It makes the skin soft and clear, and maintains the oil balance. My combination skin which earlier used to get very oily in the T zone is looking normal now. I do not have to keep using a tissue paper to get rid of the excess oil from T zone area. If you too have oily skin that is prone to breakouts I would recommend giving Elizabeth Arden exfoliating cleanser a try.

I have only bought Elizabeth Arden Perfumes so far. Had no idea they deal with cosmetics and skincare products too. The review sounds great. Almost has everything a person with an oily T zone would want.
This is my first day using it. I just don’t know if I should rinse immediately or should I wait a few minutest before I rinse. And I’m not sure how many times in a day or a week I should use it. Please help.
Hi Ayanda, I am using it like any other regular face cleanser. I rub it on the skin and then rinse of immediately. Also,I use it twice a day-morning and evening.
Let me know if you need any other help.
