Hello Everyone,
How are you all doing? I hope you have enjoyed this festive season just like me. For me, Diwali is all about shopping and good food. This pleasant change in Delhi’s weather has given an extra excuse to shop more (I had already done lots of shopping). Sorry for this long gap, I was busy in making adjustment with the new changes in my life. No, I haven’t got married, actually I have started working. But I missed writing for BABE a lot. I’ll try to be more regular from now onwards. It is like an extended family for me.
What the product says:
Fabindia Black Sesame and Salt Body Polisher is an aromatic mixture of sea salt, black sesame and ginger. It the skin and brings a rejuvenating effect.
My take on ‘Fabindia Black Sesame and Salt Body Polisher’
I am a big fan of Fabindia and keep on repurchasing some of my favourite products. They have recently launched its store nearby my house. Though I haven’t visited in that store yet but still I am very happy. I am using Fabindia’s rose water from last 2-3 years and still loving it a lot. So, when I finished my TBS Strawberry Body Polisher last month, I thought to try something new. I had heard a lot about Fabindia’s Black Sesame and Salt Body Polisher Body Polisher, so I thought of giving it a try.
The product comes in a typical Fabindia packaging; plastic jar with a lid. I think they really need to customise their packaging and make it more colourful and attractive just like Aroma Magic. The first thing which I noticed when I opened the lid was its strong fragrance, but that must be because of the essentials oils. I even saw so many sesame seeds in the jar. Another thing which I noticed was its coarse particles, so I decided to grind it before using it.
It is mentioned on the pack to use it either with yogurt or with massage oil. I was not comfortable in using it with massage oil as that could have made my skin over oily, and I had to waste a lot of body wash in removing that excess oil from my body. So, I mixed it with yogurt. Though it was a messy process but I was quite impressed by the results. It made my skin soft and bright as it effectively removed the dead skin.
I use it twice a week, depending on my mood and my level of laziness. After using it continuously for 1 month, I can easily spot the before and after difference. It has reduced my tanning upto 50% and made me at least one tone fairer. Now my hands look more presentable, healthy and smooth. Its continuous usage has also reduced the growth of my body hair.
Overall I am very much satisfied with this polisher. As it contains no preservatives or harmful chemicals, so I don’t think that anyone will face any issue regarding its quality. The problem which I faced with it was its strong herbal smell but now it has stopped bothering me. It does its work effectively and efficiently. Because of the organic essence one needs to be patient to start noticing the after-effects. Apart from these negligible issues, I haven’t found any drawback in it. It gets a green signal from my side.
Directions for Use: Mix with massage oil or yogurt as per preference to make a paste. Rub in circular motions on back, arms, neck and legs. The oils and salt can be harsh on delicate facial skin. Avoid contact with cut or wound.
