My Take on ‘Forest Essentials Delicate Facial Cleanser Kashmiri Saffron And Neem’
Forest essentials Kashmiri saffron and neem facial cleanser comes in a rectangular plastic bottle. It is a light weight bottle that can be easily carried while travelling or if the size is a problem you can easily transfer the contents to a travel container. The bottle is transparent so it helps in keeping a check on the quantity left, and makes you restock the facial cleanser before you actually run out of it.
It has pleasant saffron fragrance that provides a refreshing feel. Even if you have sensitive nose, you will probably like the fragrance. It kind of reminds me of the fragrances of temples – divine and calm. For that experience, I can use this cleanser even more than twice a day.
The pumping mechanism and runny consistency make it easy to use the cleanser. Usually, one pump is sufficient to clean the face and neck but sometimes even that is not enough to provide a clean feeling so in times like those I always go for a second round.
I am a foam loving person, so unless and until I do not work with rich lather I do not feel that my skin is thoroughly clean. This facial cleanser is very gentle on the skin, and does not generate much lather. That’s why I work with it twice to get a deep clean feel. It removes makeup and external impurities but as it is very mild I cannot feel that my skin is 100% clean. Nevertheless, considering the delicacy, it will be a perfect option for winter season- especially for dry skin people.
As it is a delicate face wash so it does not rip every last drop of moisture off your skin. In fact, skin feels soft and moisturized. It does not specifically call for moisturizer post wash. Still, I always prefer to apply a moisturizer after cleansing – following my skin care ritual. Plus, as it does not leave any stickiness behind so it is easy to rinse of. That would not only save a lot of time but also save the skin from cold water in winters.
It has neem as one of the main ingredients so I expected it work on acne and pimples as well but unfortunately it did not do a great job on that front. I still see pimples popping up and leaving the scars on my face. The only probable effect of neem is that it does not make the skin look greasy or super oily.
