Hello Girls,
If we do not take proper care of our skin, it becomes dull and lifeless. Scrub plays a vital role in bringing skin back to life. It is one of the important steps of skin cleaning. It removes dead skin cells, white heads, & black heads, and regular scrubbing makes the skin soft, smooth and supple. Nowadays, I am using Grace Cole Tea Tree And Witch Hazel Exfoliating Body Scrub. Grace Cole is a UK based brand that makes various types of skin care and hair care products. This is my first brush with the brand, lets see how this product fared on me.

My Take on ‘Grace Cole Tea Tree And Witch Hazel Exfoliating Body Scrub’
I did not know much about Grace Cole brand or its products, so before buying this product I googled about the brand and product efficacy. I came to know that Grace Cole is the home of award winning bath and body products. It produces UK’s finest body care products, from shower gels to body creams, hand lotions to lip balms. And, this information was enough for me to purchase ‘Grace Cole Tea Tree And Witch Hazel Exfoliating Body Scrub’.
Scrub is something which I use at least 3 to 4 times a week. As scrubbing has a consistent place in my skin care regimen so I look for attractive packaging in addition to efficacy. I really liked the green and off white color of Grace Cole Tea Tree And Witch Hazel body scrub. The color combination of the packaging is nice, and that was one of the reasons that allured me for its purchase. It comes in a squeezable tube with a flip open cap, which is also of bottle green color. The flip cap fixes tightly and makes it travel friendly. The tube is opaque, so you cannot see how much content is left inside which is a minus point for me.
The texture of this product is like aloe vera gel. The gel is almost transparent and composed of tiny white granules. The consistency of body scrub is fine- neither too runny nor very thick and that makes it easy to rub. The fragrance of this body scrub is quite strong but refreshing. I really liked it but it may be a problem for people with sensitive noses. To me the smell was more like tea tree, and it gives me a feeling that my skin is clean. The fragrance does not last long, and it may be a positive for those who do not like fragrant skin care products.
Though it is a body scrub yet sometimes I like applying it on my face as well, and that requires some caution. If you too want to apply this scrub on your face be careful, don’t rub too much. When I first saw this product I thought it was a mild scrub but no, its granules are quite sharp, so, whenever I use it I scrub my skin very lightly. If you have sensitive skin you need to be double sure of pressure you exert while rubbing. The granules of this scrub are very small yet effective; the right amount of pressure exfoliates the skin deeply without causing any damage.
This scrub is for all skin types. I have used it on both damp and dry skin, and personally feel the result is more prominent when it is used on dry skin. I apply it on my dry skin, add 2 -3 drops of water and it spreads easily. It does not require more than 2-3 drops of water to do its job.
As far as the efficacy is concerned, this scrub does a really good job. After every usage it makes the skin feel soft and smooth. The fragrance plays an important role here. The fragrance lightens up the mood and makes you feel fresh. It does not make the skin ooze oil, like other scrubs do so if you want to follow it with a moisturizer you can do so. The key ingredients used in this scrub have medicinal value. Witch hazel is very useful plant, used for medical purposes and skincare. It contains antioxidant and astringent. Tea tree treats acne; it penetrates into the pores, loosening up blocked oil and dirt that cause whiteheads, blackheads, and those painful red breakouts.
