Even if there would be side effects there are ways to treat them or hide them as long as nothing shows up on the face. I am a fan of cocoa butter so the moment I saw that Himalaya Herbals Intensive Moisturizing Body Lotion contains cocoa butter, I purchased it. This moisturizer is for dry – extra dry skin but I feel in winters even people with oily skin can use this moisturizer.

Himalaya Herbals Intensive Moisturizing Body Lotion comes in a sturdy packaging with a flip open cap. As soon as I opened the cap I was sure that this was the product I was going to buy. It has a very pleasant fragrance – a mix of cocoa butter and wheat germ oil. The moisturizer is off white with a tinge of brown color. I guess that’s because of cocoa butter.

Himalaya Herbals Intensive Moisturizing Body Lotion has a creamy and non-sticky texture. I take sufficient quantity of the moisturizer and massage on to damp body. It takes a couple of minutes to settle into the skin but once that’s done it gets absorbed into the skin immediately. The soothing cocoa fragrance stays for a 20-30 minutes and then fades away. This is a non-transferable moisturizer i.e. does not leave any stains behind.

Himalaya Herbals Intensive Moisturizing Body Lotion makes my skin feel soft and smooth. I apply it very frequently on hands – after every wash and before going to bed. This moisturizer has done a good job of making the hands a way softer than before.

Apply Intensive Moisturizing Body Lotion gently all over the body, with special attention to severely dry areas, slowly massaging it in.

Best used after bathing when skin is most receptive to hydration.
