Hi Everyone,
A proper and strict skin care routine is a must, especially in this hectic lifestyle where we do not get enough time to visit salons to pamper our skin. Skin care routine usually involves cleaning, toning and moisturizing twice a day. Sometimes, I go a step forward to apply a serum or SPF cream – but if the products are meticulously chosen this step is not required often.
Currently, I am testing JAFRAs skin care products that include a toner, cleanser, serum, SPF cream and night cream. In Today’s post, I will share my experience on ‘JAFRA Beauty Dynamics Balancing Night Cream’, and you will be seeing more reviews on this brand in coming weeks.
Over To JAFRA
- Provides the right balance of moisture and non-greasy emolliency.
- Counteracts night time de-hydration by harmonizing hydro flow, improving water reserves and limiting water loss.
- Enhances skin radiance with its content of Ayurvedic plant extracts.
- Provides skin with trace elements of Zinc, copper and manganese.
- Diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
My Take on ‘JAFRA Beauty Dynamics Balancing Night Cream’
I have been using JAFRA Beauty Dynamics Balancing Night Cream for over 1.5 months now. It comes in a cute white tub kind of packaging. The packing is sturdy and unbreakable, so you can assume that after an accidental fall it has 95% chances of survival ;-). The cap closes with a sound that confirms that the contents of the tub have been properly sealed.
The cream is light violet in color, and has a pleasant flowery fragrance. It is a gel based cream with a non-sticky texture that spreads easily and evenly on to the surface. Regarding the application, I apply it at night after cleansing and toning my face. Just a small dollop is required to cover face and neck. It does not feel greasy or heavy at all, but it does take 1 or 2 minutes to completely sink into the skin.
Coming to the efficacy, it feels feather-light and non-greasy. After 5-10 minutes of the application, my skin becomes very soft and baby-like, and radiates a lovely fragrance. It keeps the skin hydrated and moisturized for entire night. In the morning when I wake up I do not see any traces of excess oil rather my skin glows and looks happy :dancydancy: . So far it has not caused any skin breakouts, and rationally speaking I do not think it will cause any now.
My skin looks more radiant and healthy but I do not see much improvement in skin tone. Additionally, I could not verify its claim of reducing fine lines and wrinkles as there is still some time when I would be in a position to attest those things ;-). But on a serious note, as we approach 30s we should start using products that have anti-ageing ingredients in them.

Ingredients of ‘JAFRA Beauty Dynamics Balancing Night Cream’
Price of ‘JAFRA Beauty Dynamics Balancing Night Cream’- INR 790 for 50 ml
Shelf life of ‘JAFRA Beauty Dynamics Balancing Night Cream’ – Almost 4 years from date of manufacturing.
BABE Rating: 4/5 (this rating does not include the anti-ageing efficacy of this cream as I could not verify it)
Final Word: To sum it all up, JAFRA’s balancing night cream is a light cream that works well in providing hydration and restoring skin health. Being light and non-sticky, it is good for my combination skin. The only thing is that so far I have not noticed any improvement in skin tone, but I will keep monitoring it closely in case it take longer to work on that parameter.

Good review BABE! Liked the fact it contains essential minerals zinc, copper, and manganese as its constituents. So often we get carried away by the much harped about vitamins and antioxidants that we forget to take into account the power of minerals for skin benefits. Have heard a lot about the goodness of zinc and copper for skin. May be if not now, you find a difference in skin tone a while later.
I am hoping for the same Anshulika, and thats the reason I am not stopping its usage. Hopefully I will spot the difference and bag some compliments ;-) !
