In monsoon season, my hair suffers from breakage and fall. This is because of the excessive humidity in the atmosphere that leads to weakening of hair roots and strands and thus, causes hairs to detach from scalp. In times like this I pay more attention to hair care and change the routine. In addition to adding more nutrients to the diet, I replace my normal shampoo and conditioner duo with anti-hair fall products. I have used couple of anti-hair fall products but Pantene Pro V hair fall control shampoo has been my all-time favorite. This time when it got over I decided to try different product from L’Oreal Paris Fall Resist 3X Anti Hair Fall range. I bought its shampoo and conditioner, and have been using them for more than 2 months now. Let’s see how my experience is with these new products.
What the products say:
Fall Resist 3X Anti-Hair Fall Conditioner delivers a triple anti-hair fall action: 1. Nourishes the hair root 2. Restructures hair fiber 3. Hair grows stronger. Instantly detangles and your hair is more resistant from root to tip.
Arginine is an essential amino acid vital for hair’s constitution. It is known for nourishing scalp to improve micro-circulation. Enriched with Arginine Essence, the Fall Resist 3X range delivers a triple anti-hair fall action.
My take on ‘L’Oreal Paris Fall Resist 3X Anti Hair Fall Shampoo Conditioner’
L’Oreal Paris Fall Resist 3X Anti Hair Fall Shampoo is available is 4 sizes- 640ml, 360ml, 175ml, 75ml and 7ml. I have bought the 640ml bottle as for frequently used products I like investing in biggest sizes for they turn out to be more economical and last for long, saving me from the headache of replacing them with new ones. The 640ml packaging is a sturdy plastic bottle that is black in color and has fluorescent pink text on it. It is a push button bottle, which is hygienic and convenient to use. Being big in size it cannot be carried in hand bag or luggage bag but the contents can be easily transferred to a travel friendly.
The conditioner is also available in three sizes which are 175 ml, 65 ml & 7 ml, and the biggest bottle is made of hard plastic and has to be squeezed.
Both the shampoo and conditioner are white in color, and have semi runny consistency and fruity fragrance. The conditioner is more viscous though but I find it quite convenient for application. For the usage, I first dilute the shampoo and then massage it on wet scalp and hair. Once every nook and cranny of my scalp is massaged, then comes the rinsing. The shampoo creates abundant lather and is easy to rinse of. It does not leave any soapy residue behind but if used without the conditioner it does make the hair dry and frizzy. So, I always follow shampoo with conditioner.
Post shampooing, I spread the conditioner through the lengths of the hair right to the tips. This is not leave-in conditioner so I just leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse. It makes the hair smoother and non-frizzy. The conditioner makes it easier to de-tangle the hair and become more manageable. I do not apply the conditioner on scalp as that saves the scalp from getting oilier than its usual time.
I have oily scalp and my hair gets weighed down on the second day of shampooing but the shampoo does not let my hair weigh down for at least 2 days. It feels silky and smooth until the next shampoo, even in this humid weather. As far as controlling hair fall is concerned, I did not see any relief on that front. The volume of the hair falling on every wash just looks the same. I was really hoping to see some strength going to the hair roots but unfortunately that did not happen. On the contrary, I happy with the shine, texture and bounciness it had brought to my hair.

Final Word: Though, L’Oreal Paris Fall Resist 3X Anti Hair Fall Shampoo and Conditioner did not fulfill the only purpose of controlling the hair fall I brought it for but I am happy with the shine, texture and bounce, this shampoo and conditioner combo has brought to my hair. I would want to give it a try again when my hair is not suffering from severe hair fall and what it just needs is shine and bounce.
