My eyeliner got over a month ago but I did not buy it immediately thinking I will find a better one in terms of quality and price. Price wise there was no better deal so I gave up and bought L’Oreal Paris Telescopic Control Tip Liquid Eyeliner in shade Carbon Black. Usually, I rarely buy products without checking their reviews online but this was an instant purchase so I quite excited to try it out. The surprise came the moment I opened the liner… what was the surprise? Keep reading.
What the product says
The perfect companion to Telescopic® Mascara for a precisely defined and intense eye look. The slanted precision felt tip is angled to allow you to quickly draw the most accurate line. All-day wear. Glides on without smudging or smearing. Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. Fragrance-free. Ophthalmologist-tested and allergy-tested.
My take on ‘L’Oreal Paris Telescopic Control Tip Liquid Eyeliner’
The eyeliner comes in a small plastic bottle which has glossy black finish and gold inscriptions. The golden colored brand and product names give it a classy look. It has a long screw-open cap which carries the applicator and is quite convenient to use because of the length. These eyeliners are available in three variants: carbon black, black & waterproof black. In terms of color carbon black is a deep black shade just the kind I love to wear. Black is a bit on the lighter side but not much. I would still call it a black shade and if there no carbon black then only “black” would have been my pick.
It is jet black liquid eyeliner with pure matte finish. It feels extremely light and comfortable, and stays on for all day long. Even when I accidentally rub my eyes it does not move a bit. I like non-waterproof eye makeup since it can be easily removed but at the same time I want these products to stay intact for long. I am happy this eyeliner has good longevity and is easy to remove.
The surprise I talked about in the post earlier is the applicator. I like soft applicator with few feathers. Since I have been using them for I do not know when I know the tips and tricks. They give perfect finish without any hassles. Because I am so used to those applicators replacing them was a big NO and my usual preference to bristled applicators made me assume that this new eyeliner will also have the same brush but to my SHOCK it has a hard tip. It was then that I read about this product, and because of the hard tip L’Oréal calls it a control-tip-liquid-eyeliner. I have used eyeliner that had this tip before so I pretty disappointed. My first thoughts were to return it but the beauty blogger within me suggested I should be experimenting with this tip and make it work.
The first day I applied the eyeliner I was not happy with the application because I put too much pressure which caused uneven application. Next day it was a bit better, I felt more control on the tip and the application was convenient. Now gradually, I have mastered this applicator and feel used to it as well.
How to Use: Shake well before each use. Glide tip along outer lash line, pressing lightly for a thin line and increasing pressure for a thicker line. Place the tip back in the ink well to remoisten if necessary.

Final Word: This product is a sheer example of experimenting, and going from absolute disliking to liking. Because I was not accustomed to this kind of applicator so I did not like it at the first day but slowly when I started working with it I got the hang of it and eventually it became my cult favorite. I love deep black liquid liners with matte finish, and this is one of my recent discoveries. I am sure this is going to empty soon! Go for it girls!

Really appreciate the way you have given an honest review about the product. Looks good I want to try this eyeliner, but eyeliner and mascara make eyelashes fallout.
