It is because of this weight that I never carry this cream in my handbag. It is spill-proof though, also has an extra capping layer between the outer screw cap and tub.

The cream is white in color, and bears a very heavy texture. Owing to this heaviness in texture, it goes little easy on the application front. Had it been little runny, I would not have been able to massage it into the skin. The almost odorless quality makes it tolerable for everyone.

For the application part, I apply it in the morning on clean face and neck. After taking out the cream using forefinger, I dot it all over the face and neck only to massage it in circular motions. It does not immediately sink into the skin so I need to spend a good 30-40 seconds on massage, even after doing so it does not immediately stop feeling sticky but the feel subsides in around one hour. I do not mind enduring the stickiness for this short duration as long as it does not make my skin shine.
I do like to mention that I had to take a short break while I was using this cream because it caused acne on the chin area. So I gave my skin ample time to get accustomed to the ingredients of youth code cream, and reprieve from those painful zits before using it again.

Being a day cream, I expected it to have at least 15 SPF but sadly it does not have any. So I need to slather up another layer of sun protection cream on an already sticky surface. Working on a sticky surface feels little irritated so many a times I skip the SPF part. Well, skipping SPF is not a good thing, and you should not be doing that.

– It does not have SPF, which is a con considering its high price.
– The glass tub is quite heavy, so I always have apprehensions of carrying it in my handbag.
– It might not suit sensitive skin.
– It feels little heavy on the skin for some time.
– I do not like the tub packaging as it possess the chances of contaminating entire content.
