Lotus Herbals Natural Kajal Review and Swatch
Hi Everyone,
In my today’s post I will be sharing my experience with ‘Lotus Herbals Natural Kajal’. I am a kajal person, who never misses out wearing Kajal while stepping out of the house. I love to try different kajals; most of the times end up feeling bad after purchasing a not-so-promising product  .This time I tumbled upon Lotus Herbals Natural Kajal, which has got mixed reviews on the internet. Let’s see in detail what the product claims and what is my experience with this product.
Product claims
It is 100% natural and safe. This kajal is enriched with botanical extracts of camphor, liquorice and almond oil, which pamper and relax your eyes all day. It is smudge proof and long lasting kajal that also helps in growth of eye lashes.
My Take on ‘Lotus Herbals Natural Kajal’
Lotus Herbals Natural Kajal is a pencil shaped Kajal with jet black shade. The cap of the kajal is very small and fragile. It requires special attention as without the cap kajal becomes unhygienic and has more chances of wear and tear.
Regarding the application part, it is easier to apply this kajal for bold looks. The color is deep black; even a single swipe gives a prominent look. When I purchased the kajal the tip was sharp enough to draw a thin line but with over time use it has got thick at the front. So now, if I have to apply a thin line I need to adjust the tip at different angles. So using this kajal for subtle look might be a tedious time consuming task.
Lotus Herbals Natural Kajal is not water resistant so if you apply this kajal you cannot afford to cry, sweat or drench in rain :-) . The positive part is that being a water resistant kajal it becomes easier to wipe it off.
Coming to smudging, which is the most sought after characteristic while purchasing a kajal, Lotus Herbals Natural Kajal claims to be smudge proof. But this is the case only if you apply it on lower eye lid (not on the waterline) and dab the under eye area with compact powder. Not doing so will smudge the kajal giving an impression of dark circles. Even after applying the kajal on lower eye lid there are many chances of smudging. So one always need to keep a watch on smudging, intermittently wiping off the smudged area. Moreover, after regular usage the tip of the kajal becomes very thick. There is no way to sharpen it so you will have to live with the thick tip, which will not give a fine application.
For best results
– Do not apply this kajal on waterline.
– Apply this kajal on lower eye lid.
– To prevent smudging, slather pressed or loose powder on under eye area.
What I like about ‘Lotus Herbals Natural Kajal’
– Ingredient list does not contain any chemicals.
– Deep black color.
– One stroke Kajal.
– Reasonable Price.
– Fragrance free.
What I do not like ‘Lotus Herbals Natural Kajal’
– Not water resistant.
– Smudges Easily.
– Requires touch ups.
– Cannot be sharpened.

Final Word: I will not purchase it again as it requires constant watch on smudging. Also, as it is not possible to sharpen this kajal so the application becomes very difficult.
