Usually, nail paints being the risk free (as they do not cause any side effects or allergies) things are the quickest purchases. But buying MAC nail paint was a big problem – all because of its price. I had heard a lot about Mac nail paints and I desperately wanted to give them a try. But when it came to buying I got quite skeptical whether to go for Mac Nail Lacquer Morange or not. I must have reconsidered the decision over a dozen times. Finally, my desperation for Mac nail paint took over the budget part :-)

My Take on ‘Mac Nail Lacquer Morange’

All MAC nail paints (nail lacquer as they call it :-) ) come in very cute and sturdy bottles. These bottles are packed in hard paper packaging, which has big hole at the front. This hole show cases the shade of the nail paint. I just love the stylish packaging; it has its own charm.

Well coming to shade part, the moment I saw this Morange shade I wanted to go for it as it was the exact orange I was looking for. I know this sounds cliché’ but honestly since I have seen (on TV :-) ) Madhuri Dixit wearing a decent orange nail paint at an award function I have been dreaming to get my hands on it. The second I saw Morange I knew “this is it” but took my time in making the payment ;-) .

Moragne is a fun summery shade with high pigmentation. Just one coat gives a soothing sunny shade. When you apply the second coat it becomes a vibrant summery orange. Regarding the application, Mac Nail Lacquer comes with a long brush that has a little less bristles as compared to other nail paint brushes. But this con is not exactly a problem as the nail polish glides on pretty smoothly without any streaks. Once I apply this nail paint I do not need to wait, even for 5 minutes, to resume my other tasks. That being said this nail lacquer dries instantly and gives a flawless creamy finish.

This nail paint has a long life both when applied on nails and when stored in the bottle. When applied on nails it does not chip off easily. Even when you do the regular house hold chores it stays on intact for 3-4 days. Unlike other nail paints, MAC nail lacquer does not get thick while resting in the bottle. You do not need to add nail paint thinner to restore the consistency.

Looking at the positives of the MAC nail lacquer it sounds a good investment but still spending 1000 bucks on a nail paint.. huhhhh.

What I like about ‘Mac Nail Lacquer Morange’

– Dries out quickly when applied.

– Does not chip off easily.

– Flawless creamy finish.

– Long life.

– Highly pigmented.

– No streaks.

What I do not like ‘Mac Nail Lacquer Morange’

– The only con is the super exorbitant price.

Final Word: Repurchasing?? If somebody would gift it to me I will accept it with open arms :dancydancy:. Honestly, spending 1000 bucks on nail paint will require a super special occasion.
