You know the feeling when you are surprised with something that you direly need? Well, I have the same glee the moment I saw this full size ‘Makeup revolution focus and fix liquid concealer’ in my September fab bag. I was excited to give it a try. Firstly, because I really needed a concealer and was already on the lookout for one and secondly, this would have been my first brush with Makeup Revolution brand that has entered Indian makeup market with a bang. Let’s find out whether this product fared well on my expectations.
My Take on ‘Makeup Revolution Focus And Fix Liquid Concealer’
‘Makeup revolution focus and fix concealer’ comes in a transparent tube; hence you do not require to open the tube to see the shade. It has a long wand with soft cushioning at the applicator tip. The tip is slightly slanted so as to make the application easier. Overall, the complete inner and outer look resembles lip gloss packaging.
It is available in 6 shades so you might find one that is appropriate for your skin tone. I have got FC 07 medium shade that goes well on my wheatish complexion. Just for information, to conceal dark circles or any small or big spots you should go for a concealer that is one or two shades lighter than your actual skin tone.
This concealer has thin consistency which is neither too dripping nor too thick. I would say it is like any other liquid concealer. For this consistency, the concealer is easy to apply and spread. It does not require any pulling or tagging of skin. After dabbing it on the concerned areas, I blend it with my fingertips. Usually, I prefer using a concealer brush for blending but this concealer does not require one.
For coverage, it provides sheer to medium coverage. That means if you have deep dark circles or spots on your face that require major concealing you cannot rely on this liquid concealer. Moreover, it does not even provide a buildable coverage so layering it up would not benefit either, rather it may cause the concealer to settle into fine lines.
It gives a smooth and natural finish that does not look cake(y). In fact, it gives a moisturized look without even settling into fine lines. But on some skin tones, it may look identifiable so you would want to suppress it using either a compact or applying it under the foundation. Usually I apply my concealer above the foundation as that makes it double up as a concealer and highlighter but if the concealer is very much prominent I do go for one of the latter two resolutions.
Its staying power is 3-4 hours, after which it fades away. I have oily skin, and if I do not set it with a compact or pressed powder it causes greasiness on the areas of its application. That may not happen on normal or dry skins, but I am not sure.

Final Word: If you have even skin tone with minor scars you may find this concealer good in giving you a natural flawless look without much work. On the contrary, if you are looking for full coverage to conceal scars or deep under eye areas this may not be your pick. Undoubtedly, ‘Makeup revolution focus and fix liquid concealer’ is easy to work with and gives a natural finish, I just wish it should have been slightly more pigmented to provide more coverage.

Oops! Sheer coverage for a concealer is as good as no concealer. Sad :(
Very well explained dear :clap_s:
I don’t think it is working so much for dark circles as acne marks.
I am using this concealer these days and agree with your review :)
just imagine..I got the darkest shade..however It is better then getting a light one . I too find it very sheer..I am very particular about the coverage my concealer should provide and it does fair well on that aspect..Too sheer for my liking
