Recently, Maybelline New York has launched a new nail paint range: Color Show. As of now, 20 pretty shades are available in the market. The company is planning to launch 20 more shades within a week or two. The color show nail paints are based on a gel based formula with color popping pigments and super stylish shades that look great on nails.

Maybelline New York Color show range has really cute nail paints in a packing of 6ml transparent bottles. For the cleanest application, paint the first line of nail polish up the centre of your nail starting from the base to the tip. Then apply color to the rest of the nail, once the nail enamel dries out cover it up with a top coat.

My Take on Maybelline New York Color Show Nail Paints

For trial, I have purchased two shades from Maybelline New York Color Show Range: Sweet Sunshine (405) and Moon Beam (103). They have other shades as crazy berry, Crome pink, Crystal clear, Denim Dash, Devil wears purple, Downtown red, fantasea green, feisty fuchsia, Hooked on pink, keep up the flame, Kiss me pink, ladies night, lavender lies, midnight toupe, mint mojito, miss you blue, nude skin, orange fix, pinkaliclous, pink voltage, porclelainparty, shocking seas, silk stockings, silver linings, tangerine treat, tenacious teal velvet wine, wine & dine, blackcurrant pop, black out, blueberry ice, bold gold, buried treasure, choco sin, Cinderella pink, constant candy, coral craze and berry sexy. I love the names of these shades, they sound so catchy.

Maybelline has not yet launched the nude range; it is expected to be available somewhere around month end. These nail enamels come in mix texture; some of them are in matte and some are in shimmer. As the color show range has just arrived in the market so there are no testers available, you really have to persuade the SAs to take a look to the shade.

As far as the quantity (6 ml) of color show range is concerned, it is said to be lesser as compared to other nail paints. But I do not think that it is a drawback; in fact this will ensure that the nail paint gets used fully before it gets dried out.

Overall, I love these nail paints. I will soon purchase a couple of more shades from their nude range :yahoo:

– The paint brush is too short and this creates difficulty while applying the nail paint.
