My Recent Favourite Nail Paint Swatches – Volume 2
Hi Friends,
Here is another article on my recent favorite nail paints. Summers are around so does the beautiful nail shades. This time I have given a break to the soft nail colors such as white, silver and preferred the bold ones like aqua and emerald. For a change these shades look pretty too :nailfile: and speak of kind-of sassy and bold personality.
Maybelline Color Show – Ladies Night
I wanted to have a royal blue nail shade but settled with this one. No tester was available for this shade so I took it just by the look of the bottle. Luckily, this shade came out very close to the one I wanted. Just one coat is enough to get that blue look. The appearance is neither too matte nor too glossy. It is a perfect denim shade that looks great with white tees + denims, aqua color outfits and multi-colored floral prints.
Maybelline Color Show – Cinderella Pink
This shade has a subtle hint of pink. I find this shade very neutral, close to nude shades. Being a low pigmented shade it requires 2-3 coats to get the perfect Cinderella look. The best part of this shade is the glossy aspect, which looks feminine and cute. I think if the texture would have been matte this shade would have lost its charming appearance.
Maybelline Coloroma Nude
This shade is less pigmented. It was supposed to give a nude look. But when I apply one coat it looks a striped and tattered. To make the look cleaner I need to apply couple of more coats. Now, when that’s done (I mean when I apply 2-3 coats) the shade does not remain nude anymore rather it becomes soft pink. Although the shade looks pretty but it does not suffice my purpose of wearing a nude color. This soothing soft pink color will go well with almost all outfits – flawless shade for summers.
Wet n Wild Coloricon Fuchsia glitter
Wet n Wild’s coloricon nail paint collection has multi colored glitters. These nail shades glides on smoothly, stay on nails for long time and are very sparkling. These shades can be worn alone or on top of a single shade. If one has to apply it on another nail color base then 1 coat of this glittery nail paint would do the work. In below image I have applied two coats of this nail shade and it gave flawless glittery look. This shade has good longevity; even after 2 coats it was hard to remove it off. The best part is that it comes in a very small bottle (4.6ml), which can be finished even before the nail paint dries out.
Wet n Wild Coloricon Glossy Emerald
I find this nail shade a little bold that will mostly look good with western outfits. The shade has a glossy appearance with a bronze tinge that makes the appearance better. However, one needs to apply 2-3 coats to get the below look. Overall a nice and different shade from customary nail paints.
