Now coming to today’s product review, a few days back my daily Neutrogena deep clean gentle scrub got over. That scrub was too good for my skin that I wanted to re-purchase it. I checked on a couple of drug stores but it seems that Neutrogena has stopped its production and has replaced it with another Neutrogena deep clean blackhead eliminating daily scrub. To give this new scrub a try I have purchased a small packaging of the scrub. Let’s see how it has worked for me.

The product description- eliminate blackheads by removing stubborn dirt and oil trapped inside pores. It claims to have those properties that not only remove all blackheads but also prevent new ones from coming.

Neutrogena deep clean blackhead eliminating scrub is a daily scrub that is pearl white in color with orange miniscule particles. As far as the application is concerned, squeeze scrub on wet hand and rub the palms together to create lather. Massage gently on the wet face avoiding contact with the delicate eye area. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. This scrub does not create much lather but it has a mild refreshing fragrance.

Salicylic acid, which is good for acne prone skin, is one of the key ingredients of this product. As far as breakouts are concerned, this product has not caused any breakouts on my skin. After using this scrub for over 2 weeks I don’t find much difference in blackheads. It seems to cleanse the skin well by removing the stubborn dirt particles and oil trapped inside the pores, leaving the skin gentle, smooth and matte (momentarily).
