During Monsoon season weather becomes very humid, causing stickiness and bacteria accumulation on the skin. This is the time when skin needs tender care neither too harsh nor too lenient. One should stick to a daily skin care routine involving face cleansers, toners and moisturizers. Already knowing the needs of the skin and its reaction to cosmetic products can be an added advantage as that saves the time invested in experiments and the skin from getting worse by using the wrong products. However, it becomes impossible to test every cosmetic product before purchasing so better its to check the product reviews before making a decision. To help you in decision making, Today I will review Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Face Cleanser, which I have bought a couple of weeks back mainly for the monsoon season.

My take on Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser (Combination/Oily Skin)
Neutrogena face cleanser is light brown in color and comes in a transparent pump bottle that makes me keep a check on the quantity consumed. Very small quantity of the cleanser is enough for lathering and cleansing the already dampen face. I prefer to damp my face with normal water before using a cleanser. Use lather to massage the face in light circular motion, wash off with normal water and pat to dry. The skin feels soft and supple from deeper, more thorough cleansing. Neutrogena facial cleanser makes my skin so soft that I do net even realize that I have used a face cleanser; after using the cleanser I dab a toner filled cotton swab on the face .This face cleanser removes all the external impurities from the skin opening up clogged pores that I usually verify with a clean toner dabbed cotton swab. Moreover, being a fragrance free mild cleanser it maintains the elasticity of the skin. I use it twice a day: early morning and before going to bed. It makes the skin feel fresh and healthy.
Unlike other face washes, which I have used before, it does not make the skin dry afterwards. I find Neutrogena deep clean face cleanser better than the foaming face washes that stretch the skin and make it dry.

What I do not like about Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser (Combination/Oily Skin)
– A little pricey as compared to other face cleansers
