Hi Everyone,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the long delay in publishing this article. I have had some really hectic days last week so could not take out time for writing. I am not going to waste any more time and directly coming to today’s topic- Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser. I am a follower of Neutrogena face washes as most of them suits my skin type (oily/combination) and does not cause any acne breakouts. So I don’t have to think twice or search for online reviews before going for a new Neutrogena face wash.
I have been using Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser on and off for last two years and here is what all I have to say about it.
What the product says:
Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser is a refreshing facial cleanser that thoroughly removes dirt, oil and dead skin cells while providing long lasting oil control to improve the look and feel of skin. This clinically proven formula lathers to a rich creamy foam which removes skin impurities that can build up in pores such as excess oil, dirt and makeup.
Oil control formula helps reduce surface oil while retaining the skin’s natural moisture balance to keep skin clear fresh and healthy looking.
My Take on ‘Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser’
Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser comes in a flip open tube packaging. The tube is travel friendly and does not lead to any spill -over. The face cleanser is white in color with a semi-thick texture. One of the best parts of this face cleanser is that it has a very mild fragrance, which might be a strong pro for people with sensitive noses.
The next good thing about Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser is that it creates abundant lather. I take a very small quantity of the foaming cleanser, rub it between palms to work up lather and then apply it on already wet face. After rinsing off my face with tap water, my skin feels completely free from greasiness. My face stays free from oil for around 2-3 hours and then starts regaining its natural state. But even after coming back to its normal form this foaming cleanser does not make my skin shine like a tube light. For the record, I have a combination skin so I feel that this face wash is apt for oily/combination skin types. But I do not prefer to use this face wash in winters as it stretches my skin and make it deficient of moisture. Irrespective of the weather, people with normal – dry skin types might feel their skin stretched out or dried after using Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser.
Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser removes external impurities and opens up clogged pores. Usually, I do not feel the need of an astringent or toner after washing my face with this face cleanser.
What I like about ‘Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser’
– Creates enough lather.
– Small quantity is required.
– Keeps a check on greasiness.
– Controls shine.
– Thoroughly removes external impurities and dirt.
– Negligible fragrance.
– Travel friendly packaging.
What I do not like ‘Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser’
– Cannot be used in winters.
– Not a good option for dry skin people.
Shelf life of ‘Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser’ – 3 years from manufacturing date.
Price of ‘Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser’ – INR 170 for 100g.
Ingredients of ‘Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser’ –
BABE Rating- 4/5
Final Word – I find Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser a good option for oily skin in summers. In humid weather it keeps my skin relieved of all the greasiness. However, in winters I would prefer to switch to some other moisturizing face wash.
