Nivea Nourishing Lotion Body Milk Almond Oil Review
Hi Everyone,
Body lotion is as significant a part of our skin care routine in summers as it is in winters. In fact in summer season our body requires more moisture as we spend our days mostly under AC, which rips off all the moisture leaving the skin dehydrated. With that in mind, I bought the ‘very dry skin’ variant of ‘Nivea Nourishing Lotion Body Milk Almond Oil’ body lotion. Read on to know if it has lived up to my expectations.
What the product says

– The formula, with Almond Oil, softens the skin

My Take on ‘Nivea Nourishing Lotion Body Milk Almond Oil’
Nivea almond oil body lotion comes in twist open packaging that has a lock as well. The bottle is made up of hard plastic, but the pump nozzle ensures that the product can be easily squeezed and locked when not in use. Though because of the huge size it becomes difficult to carry it in a handbag or luggage bag but you can always transfer the contents to smaller bottles for the ease of carrying.
The lotion is white in color with mild scent. The scent is pleasing but stays on only for 2-3 hours. As this is a sweltering that makes body odor overpowers perfumes/deodorants, so I really wish the scent of this lotion would have stayed little longer. Nevertheless, the consistency is kind of runny but way thicker than water. I find it easier to spread on the skin without making any extra efforts. Plus, as my skin in oily so it has a tendency to release sweat whenever I apply a cream or lotion on my body. But with Nivea almond oil body lotion I seldom notice any sweat as the consequence of application.
Formulated with almond oil extracts, this lotion keeps the skin moisturized for long hours. I have opted for ‘very dry skin’ variant because in summers I sit under AC all day long, and doing so makes the skin stretchy and dehydrated. To compensate for that loss of moisture, I wanted to invest in a product that would not only invigorate the skin but also keep it like that for good amount of time. Luckily, since I have started using this body lotion I am not feeling that stretchiness in my skin anymore.
The only con I find with this lotion is that it does not have SPF. In such extreme heat, I always prefer to wear such products that have sun protection. In case I have to stay indoors, I just apply the lotion. But for outdoors, I think this con can be overlooked considering other benefits this lotion provides. Speaking of which, I do not make my skin suffer; instead I layer up the exposed skin with another SPF cream every time I have to step out of the house.

– It keeps the skin moisturized all day long.
– It has mild fragrance that stays on for couple of hours.
– It makes the skin feel soft and look healthy.

What I do not like about ‘Nivea Nourishing Lotion Body Milk Almond Oil’

Final Word: Formulated with almond oil and exclusive Hydra IQ technology, this lotion provides long lasting moisture that in turn keeps the skin satiated even under AC. The creamy texture and apt consistency make it easier to spread the lotion on skin. It needs to be topped up with another SPF layer, but looking at the several other benefits this additional work can be ignored.
