Oriflame The ONE Illuskin Concealer Nude Pink Review Swatch
Hi Everyone,
Oriflame The ONE Illuskin Concealer is categorized under Oriflame’s the ONE everyday beauty range. The ONE illuskin concealer comes in three shades: fair light, nude skin and nude beige. I have inbetween wheatish – fair complexion, and I took nu*e pink shade so as to avoid the grey tone that usually surfaces after applying a concealer on under eye area, and it does work in curbing it . For detailed review on coverage and texture read below.
My Take on ‘Oriflame The ONE Illuskin Concealer Nude Pink’
I love the cute little packaging of this concealer. It comes in a squeezable tube that has a sharp nozzle and a screw cap. It would come in very handy while travelling for its size and spill-proof screw cap. The tube is so small that it can easily fit in your pocket as well. The transparent packaging ensures you see the exact shade of the concealer before making a purchase.
The first time I used this concealer I took my usual quantity and it went all overboard, I had to spend good time in blending the excess product. I was surprised to see that it requires as less quantity as the size of a sunflower seed. I know sunflower seed is quite tiny but amazingly that much product is what you actually need to cover your dark circles. I am already worried how I will finish it and go for a new one! I doubt if I have the patience to use a single product for eternity. ;-)
This concealer has a creamy texture and semi-thick consistency that makes it glide on to the skin smoothly. It takes some time in settling but once it settles it gives that non-cake(y) natural look that does not look like a clown’s makeup. Plus, you can always utilize the settling time to work with the concealer for your desired look. It provides good coverage when it comes to low to average concealing but for those who have deep dark circles this would not be that effective.
If you want this concealer to give you a natural look you need to diligently work on the blending part. Spread it on under eye area, dab it lightly focusing on edges so that they blend with your skin perfectly, diminishing the borders. Now, blend it at the center to make it even. You can blend the concealer either using a makeup brush or your ring finger. I prefer blending it with finger as that does not lead to any product wastage, and as I am comfortable doing it that way. ;-)
After blending, I always make a point to set it with pressed powder. Doing so makes it look more natural and even, and increases its staying power. Also, I would recommend that before you use a concealer you should slather some eye cream on your under eye area. This will prevent dryness from surfacing and spoiling the look. Coming back to Oriflame the one illuskin concealer, it looks cracked after 2-3 hours of wearing. I do not like that look as that accentuates fine lines and gives an awful impression. If I ignore these two things then this is more than an average concealer, and a good practice product for makeup beginners.
What I like about ‘Oriflame The ONE Illuskin Concealer Nude Pink’

– Very convenient and travel friendly packaging.
– It comes in a pocket friendly price.
– It does not give a superficial or cake(y) look.
– It hides dark circles and spots effectively.
– It has creamy consistency which glides on to the skin smoothly.
– A little goes a long way; you hardly need a sunflower seed size quantity for each eye.
What I do not like about ‘Oriflame The ONE Illuskin Concealer Nude Pink’
– It accentuates fine lines.
– It looks a bit cracked after only 2-3 hours.
– It requires lot of blending before it starts looking natural.
– It is not that effective when it comes to heavy concealing.

Final Word: Oriflame The ONE Illuskin Concealer Nude Pink blends well, and covers dark circles with good efficacy. It does not give a superficial clown look rather mingles with skin tone giving a fresh look to your eyes. However, for people who require heavy concealing or who have deep fine lines this may not work that well. But for those who do not have either of these concerns this is a good product in a reasonable price.
