Hope you had a blast this weekend. After Diwali, this was my first weekend back at Delhi so I went out for shopping (missed it so much). As winters are approaching so I am replacing my current skin care products with winter survival stock. I will be sharing my skin care routine, plus the products I use in future posts. As of now, let’s take a look at my experience with Oriflame The ONE Volume Blast Mascara.

My Take on ‘Oriflame The ONE Volume Blast Mascara’

This mascara is one of Oriflame’s new brand- The ONE’s products. I have posted details regarding the launch event a couple of days back. As of now Oriflame has launched 4 products of the brand The ONE in India. I guess, every month they would be launching other products gradually.

Oriflame The ONE Volume Blast Mascara comes in a berry colored tube that has silver detailing on it. I am quite impressed with the wand length. It is comparatively longer than any other mascara I have used so far. The long wand makes it sure that the brush reaches every nook and cranny of your lashes. Earlier, while reaching the inner corner and lower lashes I used to spill the messiness around but with Oriflame’s the One mascara there is no-spilling-the-beans. It does that job immaculately for me, and with utmost ease.

This mascara works well in enhancing the lash length but does not cast much magic when it comes to raising the lash volume. I already have thick lashes so that does not bother me much. After 2 coats, I see significant difference in lash length and curl. But in case you have sparse lash volume you might need to give it a thought.

The other mascara I am using these days is a waterproof one, and believe me it is a real pain to remove it at the end of the day. Even after using makeup remover it leaves some of the traces behind. So when I got to know that Oriflame’s the ONE mascara is non-waterproof I was super happy. Now, I can remove my mascara effortlessly – I do not need to use a makeup remover to wipe it off just cleanse my face with cleanser and water and it is all gone. Plus, even if it is not waterproof mascara it does not get run out easily – not even if you cry . Believe me or not, non-waterproof mascara is far better than waterproof mascara, it does everything a waterproof mascara can do plus it is easier to wipe off.

What I like about ‘Oriflame The ONE Volume Blast Mascara’

– It does not clump lashes.
– It significantly lengthens eye lashes.
– It is easy to wipe off.
– The long wand makes it easier to reach inner corner and lower lashes.
– Does not run out even if you cry. :clap:
– Locks with a sound and ensures no spilling off the product.
– Pocket friendly in comparison to other mascaras of same pros.

What I do not like about ‘Oriflame The ONE Volume Blast Mascara’

– It does not add much volume but this is ok with me as I already have thicker lashes. People who have sparse lashes might find this as a flaw.

Final Word: Oriflame The ONE Volume Blast Mascara significantly heightens lash length. Two coats of mascara are enough to elongate the lashes and give them a defined bold look. The long wand covers every corner of upper and lower lashes without creating any mess. It is not a waterproof mascara but I take that as a pro because this formula makes it easier to remove, and does not cause any harm to the lashes/eyes. Overall, I like the ease with which I can apply this mascara, and at the same time wipe it off.
