Hi Everyone,

Nude lip shades are my all time favorite, if I like a nude shade I don’t take much time in adding it to my existing lipstick collection :-). I love them because nude lip shades can be easily worn at every occassion- be it regular office hours, morning party time or even evening party. This lip shade goes with every traditional and western outfit. Of lately, I have purchased another nude shade ‘Revlon colorstay overtime – Neverending Nude’ :yes:. Only if the salesman would not have been that much convincing I would have never bought it, not at all my fault :unsure:

Let’s see how I find this new shade :-)

My take on Revlon colorstay overtime Neverending Nude

The product claims that ‘Revlon colorstay overtime’ is an all-day lip color and gloss that works overtime. ColorStay Overtime Lip color covers your lips in full coverage color and shine for up to 16 hours, no touch-ups needed. One end smoothens on advanced ColorStay liquid formula with SoftFlex for beautiful, comfortable color that won’t kiss off, feather or bleed. The other end brushes on a moisturizing top coat with chamomile and soy extract for all-day glossy softness.

The packaging looks somewhat attractive, one side contains the colored semi liquid lip color and the other side contains the transparent glossy shine. One has to apply the lip color first and wait for some time until it dries out. When the lip color is totally dry, apply the glossy shine on top. This nude lip shade will suit all skin tones.The shade is very pretty and elegant, and gives your personality a classy appearance. I just love wearing it everwhere. The texture of sheen gloss is very sticky so one has to be little gentle and careful while applying it. The site claims that neverending nude shade can stay up to 16 hours. However, I feel that’s a lot to expect from a lip color, still I expected it to stay on for at least half of the claimed hours. In reality it stays on intact for 8-9 hours, and after that it becomes quite sticky and uncomfortable. The traces of this lip color remains for additional 1-2 hours, stretching the longevity to up to 10 hours.

As far as touch ups are concerned, once applied in the morning I do not feel any need of interim touch ups. But at the end of the day, removing this lip color is a task in itself. Every time I wear this I have to scrub my lips to wipe it off. It’s best to remove this lip color using a good lip remover. The best part I like about Revlon colorstay overtime Neverending Nude lip color is that it does not leave behind it’s mark on the utensils.

I love this shade and its staying power. The only negative is that removing this lip color is a task in itself. One should use a lip makeup remover to cover this only con. Otherwise it is a perfect shade and I would like to re purchase it.

– Does not leave off any lipcolor mark on drinking or eating utensils.

What I do not like about Revlon colorstay overtime Neverending Nude

– Difficult to wipe off.
– Pungent smell.
– Contrary to the site claim it does not seem to moisturize lips.
