Hope you are doing great. Today I will be reviewing ‘Sunsilk Co-Creations Nourishing Soft and Smooth Shampoo‘. I was quite tired of my regular shampoos so I purchased this one – just to try out something new. I like the tag line on the bottle “NOURISHING SOFT & SMOOTH SHAMPOO” .

The product claims sound quite promising.

Product Description:

Due the harsh sun the hair is stripped off its essential oils, leaving it dry. Sunsilk Nourishhing Soft & Smooth shampoo is the best shampoo for dry hair. It is enriched with Egg Ceramide Complex, which cleanses your hair and conditions even the driest hair leaving it soft & smooth.

Soft and smooth hair can now say ‘hello’ everyday.

My Take on ‘Sunsilk Co-Creations Nourishing Soft and Smooth Shampoo‘

Like other Sunsilk shampoos, Sunsilk Co-Creations Nourishing Soft and Smooth Shampoo also come in its usual patented flip-open-cap packaging and bright yellow colored bottle. I would accept that the vibrant yellow color of the bottle is quite attractive and led me to its purchase. The shampoo is off white in color with a very thick texture. Because of the thick consistency it becomes essential to dilute the shampoo before using. Once the diluting is done it generates enough lather to cover the hair. ‘Sunsilk Co-Creations Nourishing Soft and Smooth Shampoo’ has a mild fruity fragrance, which fades out after a while.

After I wash my hair with this shampoo my hair becomes frizzy, rough and tangled. I mean it becomes so bad that I do not even like to set them loose or move my fingers in my hair :cry:. The product claims that it comprises of ultra-light fusion of 5 natural oils almond, babassu, camellia, argan and coconut but I really don’t understand how these oils benefit my hair :scratch: .

Regarding the packaging, it looks like the bottle is made of hard plastic. It takes a lot of force and energy to bring the shampoo out of the bottle; you have to squeeze it really hard. And by the time when there is just 1/4th of the shampoo left you cannot even imagine what tug-of-war it becomes to take out the shampoo. I wish they should have changed the packing to a wide open mouth or just made the shampoo a bit thinner to just make it easier to use.

Fortunately, I do not have any dry hair but still decided to change my shampoo and that too to yellow Sunsilk. I chose this shampoo particularly to make my hair healthier and smoother (as it claims to provide soft and smooth hair) but what happened was really unfortunate and disappointing. The very first time when I used ’Sunsilk Co-Creations Nourishing Soft and Smooth Shampoo’ I was out of words.

What I like about ‘Sunsilk Co-Creations Nourishing Soft and Smooth Shampoo‘

– Color of the bottle. That’s the only thing I like about this product.

What I do not like ‘Sunsilk Co-Creations Nourishing Soft and Smooth Shampoo’

– Makes hair rough, frizzy and tangled.
– Bad packaging.
– Thick consistency.
– Does not bring any shine to hair.
– Makes hair look dull.

BABE Rating- I would give it 0.5 /5 and that too because of the vibrant yellow color of the bottle.

Final Word: My hair used to be healthy and smooth before I started using this shampoo. This shampoo has damaged my hair and made it rough. I would never ever go even close to ‘Sunsilk Co-Creations Nourishing Soft and Smooth Shampoo’.
