Sunsilk Natural Recharge Shampoo and Conditioner Review
Hello Dearies,
How are you all doing, especially with your hair in this rainy and humid weather? Happy Monsoons to all of you :dancydancy: . This is the best time of the year, when you see water falling from sky and making every hot and sunny thing calm and divinely beautiful. But as they say that there are always thorns with roses so is the monsoon season accompanied with unwanted damages. Undoubtedly, I love this season but at the same time I am frustrated by the deteriorating condition of my hair. Though I do not like to play with my shampoo but when I got utterly disappointed from frizzy, dry, and breakage of my hair, I decided to try the newer Sunsilk recharge shampoo and conditioner. Sunsilk has sent this hamper a long time ago but I did not use it for the obvious reason of not to damage my already healthy hair. Now, as my hair has become quite dull and lifeless, I thought to give this “recharge” hamper a try, I badly need to recharge my hair
My experience with ‘Sunsilk Natural Recharge Shampoo’
I have a habit of running my fingers through my hair. Lately, whenever I used to touch my hair I have this sickening feeling of bad hair as my fingers always get stuck due to tangles and roughness. When I shampooed my hair, it felt good and silky for some time but after six-seven hours it used to become a nest of wooden mesh. My hair was calling for a quick recharge, and that was when I decided to go with Sunsilk natural recharge shampoo and conditioner.
Sunsilk natural recharge shampoo recharge consists of ginseng root & oil. Ginseng root is a well-known herb that has shown tremendous help fighting baldness. It is also said to have a potential of nurturing hair growth and improving hair texture. So right from the first day, I have kept my fingers crossed as I needed nothing else than a good fight against hair loss :-)
Talking about the shampoo, it is stored in a cool sea green colored bottle that has a top flip open cap. The mild fruity fragrance provides a pleasant hair bathe, and rich lather makes me feel that my hair is being thoroughly cleansed. After two weeks of continuous use, I won’t say that this shampoo has stopped hair fall dramatically but yes, it did something that has put a halt to unnecessary hair breakage. Now, I do not see as much hair breakage as it was 2 weeks ago. Also, my hair is less frizzy and more manageable. I feel this shampoo is recuperating my hair’s health, thereby maintaining the required moisture irrespective of the weather. I would say although hair fall has not reduced considerably but there is definitely strong improvement in hair breakage, which is almost nil.
Also, my hair has become silkier and I am again in love with my hair
What I like about ‘Sunsilk Natural Recharge Shampoo’
– It is infused with Ginseng root oil that is famous for curing hair problems.
– It has mild fruity fragrance so not a problem for the persons who have sensitive nose.
– It maintains a healthy pH so that hair remains ineffective from humid weather conditions.
– It makes hair stronger and reduces hair breakage.
– It makes hair bounce to health.
– I don’t feel a need for conditioner as solely the shampoo does make my hair healthy.
– Above all it makes me fall in love with my hair.
What I don’t like in ‘Sunsilk Natural Recharge Shampoo’
– I like every bit of this shampoo.

My experience with ‘Sunsilk Natural Recharge Conditioner’
Just like the shampoo, the conditioner also comes in a cute sea green color bottle. The packaging is not much different from other Sunsilk conditioner’s packaging. It comes in flip open tube with mild but fruity fragrance.
As compared to Sunsilk natural recharge shampoo I don’t find the conditioner resolving any of my hair problems. May be I am already more-than-satisfied with the shampoo that I am unable to see any good in this conditioner. In fact, whenever I use this conditioner after shampooing my hair gets sticky and greasy only after a couple of hours. It might not be the fault of conditioner but of this humid weather. But whatever it is my hair feels good without Sunsilk natural recharge conditioner, so I prefer to use the shampoo without any conditioning.
What I like about ‘Sunsilk Natural Recharge Conditioner’
– Just that it has a pleasant and mild fragrance.
What I don’t like about ‘Sunsilk Natural Recharge Conditioner’:
I did not have a good experience with this conditioner. Whenever I use this conditioner, it feels as if all humidity has settled on my hair.
Shelf Life of Sunsilk Natural Recharge Shampoo and Conditioner: 36 months from date of packaging.
Price of ‘Sunsilk Natural Recharge Shampoo’: 132 INR for 180 ml
Price of ‘Sunsilk Natural Recharge Conditioner’: 64 INR for 80 ml
BABE rating: 5/5 for Sunsilk Natural Recharge Shampoo
2.5/5 for Sunsilk Natural Recharge Conditioner
Final word: I would say Sunsilk Natural Recharge shampoo is worth giving a try, especially in monsoon season. But for the Sunsilk Natural Recharge conditioner, I think it is not the good time to judge it as usually hair does not require conditioning in humid weather. Once the monsoons are over, I am thinking to give another chance to this conditioner.
