Hello Sweeties,
Hope your day is going quite well: filled with bright colors, energy and enthusiasm.’The Body Shop’ lists among my favourite skin care brands so you will be seeing lots of its products reviewed on my blog. Today, I will be reviewing the ‘The body shop Vitamin E gentle face wash’, which I have been using for 3 weeks now.
My take on ‘The body shop Vitamin E gentle face wash’
The body shop Vitamin E gentle face wash is suitable for all skin types. The face wash comes in a pink color soft plastic, flip open tube. It has a soft creamy texture that is baby pink in color. Its fragrance is little odd – neither scented nor fruity. But I am kind of ok with it as its not pungent and too strong.
Regarding application, I take a small quantity of this face wash, the size of a pea and rub it between the palms to create lather. This face wash is not that foamy, so to create the lather I need to do some extra rubbing. I don’t feel satisfied until the rich lather slathers on my entire face ;-). Then I apply the lather on my damp face and massage softly in circular motions with palms and finger tips for about 30 seconds. One needs to have some patience to spot the foam :-) . After the massage I rinse off the foam with cold water. Afterwards, my skin feels soft and fresh. This face wash contains Vitamin E that is beneficial for skin’s good health and suppleness. Since I have been using this face wash I notice great improvement in my skin tone and softness. It looks more even and healthy.
As far as breakouts are concerned it does not cause any breakouts on my acne prone skin. Rather, it makes my skin soft and smooth.
What I like about ‘The body shop Vitamin E gentle face wash’-
– Requires a small quantity.
– Very soft texture.
– Mild fragrance.
– Travel friendly packaging.
– Lasts long.
– Makes skin soft and smooth.
– Does not cause any breakouts.
What I do not like about ‘The body shop Vitamin E gentle face wash’-
– Requires a lot of hard work to produce the lather
Packaging of ‘The body shop Vitamin E gentle face wash’-
It comes in a soft plastic tube, which is easy to carry, with a tight cap on the top. I like the material of this tube as it also gives a silky feeling just as the texture of the face wash does.
