The Nature’s Co Marshmallow Day Cream Review
Hi Friends,
These days I am using skin care products from The Nature’s Co (TNC) –a brand that claims to use natural preservatives in place of synthetics. TNC has its roots in India; I did not know the fact before writing this review. It’s good to know that Indian companies are now focusing more on natural ingredients than on chemicals. I feel naturally made products are flourishing at rapid rate as most of the people are tired of using parabens and other chemicals.
Well coming to the review part, while purchasing The Nature’s Co Marshmallow Day Cream, the sales assistant managed to convince me that this is the best cream TNC have for my skin type. For the record, I have an oily/combination skin, I wanted something that would work efficiently on open pores and glossy appearance. Let’s see how I find this cream so far.
What the product says:
Start your day with soothing softness of marshmallow, whose superior moisturizing leaves skin silky smooth. Its anti-inflammatory properties calm the skin and help it from irritating agents. Smooth a small amount over clean, toned skin as needed, using gentle upward strokes.
My Take on ‘The Nature’s Co Marshmallow Day Cream’
The Nature’s Co Marshmallow Day Cream comes in TNCs signature packaging – small square shaped tub with an aqua color cap. The weird packaging makes it difficult to adjust the cream in a handbag (the cap has sharp pointed corners) and the fear of spilling it out prevents from keeping it in the luggage bag. In short the packaging does not make The Nature’s Co Marshmallow Day Cream’ a travel friendly product.
TNC Marshmallow cream has an off-white color and a semi-thick texture. The fragrance is very yummy, I have never seen a marshmallow plant but I am sure that I have already developed a liking for that  . As this cream has a semi-thick texture so if applied on a dry face it would not glide smoothly on to the skin. I prefer to apply this cream on damp face using gentle upward strokes. It penetrates into the skin quickly, giving a matte effect for 20-30 minutes. After half an hour or so my skin comes to its usual appearance but keeps moisturized for whole day long.
Though my skin was already pretty clear before I started using this product yet I did not see any breakouts or redness after using this cream. If it did not do any wonder it did not even make things worse. The Nature’s Co Marshmallow cream claims to have anti-inflammatory property, which I could not gauge.
Overall I find this cream working on the basic necessities of the skin such as moisturizing and keeping the skin calm.
What I like about ‘The Nature’s Co Marshmallow Day Cream ‘
– Yummy fragrance.
– Keeps skin moisturized.
– Quickly penetrates into the skin.
– Does not contain chemicals (at least the ingredient list say so ).
– Does not cause any skin breakouts.
What I do not like ‘The Nature’s Co Marshmallow Day Cream’
– Expensive (Luckily I purchased it at 50% off).
– Little difficult to carry in handbag because of sharp edges.
– Might not work best on sensitive skin.
Shelf life of ‘The Nature’s Co Marshmallow Day Cream’ – 2 years from date of manufacturing.
Price of ‘The Nature’s Co Marshmallow Day Cream’ – INR 895 for 50 ml.
Ingredients of ‘The Nature’s Co Marshmallow Day Cream’ – – Sorry I could not click a better picture as the ingredient list was little misplaced.
BABE Rating- 4/5
Final Word – The Nature’s Co Marshmallow Day Cream moisturizes the skin and keeps it calm. Well, it does not even claim to do anything else except the anti-inflammatory property. I could not evaluate the anti-inflammatory part as my skin is already serene. Next time, I would like to go for something that claims some prominent result on my skin.

Hi. I think you’d like to know that marshmallow in this case is not a plant. Do Google it. It is a confectionary made of flour, sugar, gelatine and occasionally, eggs.
Hi Ashita, I love marshmallow (as in confectionery) but the marshmallow extracts used in this cream are derived from a plant called Althaea officinalis. It has medicinal properties that are used to heal the skin.
Hope this helps.. take care !
