In my today’s post I will write about my experience with Vichy normaderm anti imperfection deep cleansing foaming cream. If you remember I have purchased this product from purplle.com along with a couple of more skin care products. The online shopping experience was not that good; you can read about it here. But as far as the products are concerned I have mixed opinions.

A small introduction about Vichy: Vichy laboratory is an 82 year old pharmacy brand, launched in 1931 in Vichy, France. It claims to be No. 1 skin care brand in European pharmacies and to offer a diverse range of allergy –tested skin care products. Vichy products are not available on usual cosmetic stores. You will only find them either at drugstores or at some of the online shopping websites.

Coming to Vichy normaderm anti imperfection deep cleansing foaming cream, it has salicylic acid and claims to cure most of the combination skin problems such as open pores, impurities, imperfection, dead skin cells and excess oil. Let’s see in detail how true I found these claims.
My Take on ‘Vichy normaderm anti imperfection deep cleansing foaming cream’
I purchased this face wash as I wanted a break from my usual Neutrogena deep cleansing face wash. I have combination skin, prone to acne so I did not want to take any risk with the replacement. I saw Vichy nomraderm anti imperfection face wash at a drugstore and instantly decided to add it to my list of products.

Vichy normaderm anti imperfection deep cleansing foaming cream comes in a soft plastic tube packaging. The foaming cream is translucent white in color and has a medicinal smell. The first time I used this face wash the smell was quite pertinent but with time I have become used to this smell and it does not bother me anymore :yahoo: The texture of the cream is little synthetic. I take a very small quantity of the foaming cream (literally less than the size of a pea, believe me :yes: ) rub it between my palms to create the lather and apply on my damp face. Such a little quantity of the foaming cream creates enough lather to clean the face thoroughly. Unlike my previous face wash, it is easy to rinse of. Within just 2 -3 splashes of water the lather is all gone. I do not feel my skin stretched or over dried after using this product.

Since I have started using this face wash I have observed that my skin has become healthier and clearer. Also, I have noticed that my face has become less oily and so does the flashy sheen :-) My skin is little reluctant in accepting new products as it starts breaking out at the onset of majority of new products. But with Vichy normaderm, so far I have not noticed any breakout so I think my skin loves this product :heart:
Regarding the products’ claim of reducing open pores I have not yet noted remarkable results. It might take some time to give prominent results till that level.

– Does not make the skin feel stretched.
– Easy to rinse of.
– Lasts long.
– Travel friendly.
– Does not make the skin dry.
– Does not cause any breakouts.
– Controls oil.
– Makes skin healthier and clearer.
What I do not like about ‘Vichy normaderm anti imperfection deep cleansing foaming cream’
– Little pricey.
– Medicinal smell, which can be bothersome for some people.
– Not noticed visible difference in pore size.

I’ve been searching for this product high and low but the problem is I live in the uk and they don’t sell this product here. Even on Amazon it is unavailable. Do you know where I can purchase this from? I’ve ran out of this cleanser and my skin goes mental without it, like literally! :(
