The only two days of week that get meticulous planning could not become that fruitful this time :cry: . And, that’s the reason I have neither been that active on my blog nor responsive on emails for past few days. Today, I am feeling somewhat better so thought of writing this review on my current favorite nail color. Second to Maybelline glitter range- All that glitters, ‘Wet n wild on a trip’ is my favorite nail color these days. My Take on ‘Wet n Wild Megalast Salon Nail Color- 213C On A Trip’
Of late, I have reviewed one ‘wet cement’ shade from Wet n Wild Megalast Salon Nail color range. Impressed by the salon like quality of this nail series, I dwelled to buy a couple of more shades. ‘On a trip’ is one of the 4 such shades I have bought. Just as the name conveys ‘on a trip’ is a cool, serene and little lively nail shade with soft blue undertone. Every time I pronounce its name, I feel like going for a back-pack trip :walk_s:

One coat of the shade gives a translucent streaky look that usually happens with pastel shades. But more than 1 coat gives a perfect opaque glossy finish. To elaborate more, 2 coats give warm purple look, and 3 coats give a full-of-life impression :clap: . In all these swatch pictures I have been wearing 2 coats of the nail polish, as I wanted to keep the look muted to get along with my bold outfit.

Wet n wild’s Megalast salon nail color series has pro fashioned brush that is angular at the edges and full of the thick bristles at the center. Just in one fan, it covers all the nooks and corners of my nails leaving no undone spaces.

Coming to longevity, 1 or 2 coats get patchy after 2 days but 3 coats stick to the nail base for little longer. When I go with 3 coats the salon-like-shine stays on forever, but with 1 or 2 coats it gets dull over time.

Final Word: Just like Maybelline glitter mania series, I love this wet n wild megalast salon nail color series.
