Hope you are enjoying the New Year festive mood. Usually, people make a long list of New Year resolutions and end up struggling hard to even complete a single out of the many. I am not any different; I have set up four resolutions for this year :-) . I wish if not all then I end up accomplishing at least 2 of these resolutions. Amen!!
Well coming to today’s topic, I will be reviewing Lakme Insta Liner Water Resistant Eyeliner. I have been using it for a while. Let’s see how my experience has been with this eyeliner.

My Take on ‘Lakme Insta Liner Water Resistant Eyeliner’
Lakme Insta Liner comes in a small 9 ml packaging with a sleek brush. The brush holder is of correct length and makes the application easier & comfortable. Lakme Insta Liner has deep black color that gives a fine definition to eyes. The liner is very liquid taking a little longer time to dry out. This property has both the negative and positive part. The positive is that for beginners, who are learning how to apply eye liner till the time this liner is damp it is easier to wipe it off and reapply. The negative is that for experts this will be a problem as they have to wait to move their eyes or apply any other eye makeup till it dries out. Once this eye liner dries out, it stays intact for whole day without smudging at all.

Lakme Insta Liner claims to be a water resistant eye liner. I have not noticed any such quality; on the contrary it spreads easily when eyes get watery or come in contact with water. So if you are using this liner beware of crying, you cannot afford to do so: P.
While applying Lakme Insta liner one has to be little careful while working on the inner eye corner. If mistakenly it gets inside the eyes it burns them and makes them watery. This can spread the liner making the eye makeup messy.

Also, while purchasing this liner you should thoroughly check the brush as sometimes the brush bristles are uneven, which leads to a zigzag application.
What I like about ‘Lakme Insta Liner Water Resistant Eyeliner’
– It is easy to apply.
– It is easy to wipe off.
– It has a deep black color.
– It is smudge proof.
– It stays on for really long.
– It is travel friendly.
– Price is quite affordable.
What I do not like about ‘Lakme Insta Liner Water Resistant Eyeliner’
– If gets inside the eyes it burns them causing redness.
– It is not water resistant.
– It takes a little long to dry.

Yes Simran, some of them are smudge proof and really stay on whole day long.. and I feel they give a finer applicaton too !
